How do I book a picnic experience?
Once you have a desired date, start time, location and party size, please fill out the request form on the Contact page, and we will get back to you to discuss details of your picnic! Once your picnic is approved, we will invoice you for the 50% nonrefundable deposit fee to secure your date. The remainder of your payment, or full payment, is due 5 days prior to your scheduled picnic. We do not offer refunds once payment has been received.
How far in advance can I book?
You may book up to 3 months in advance. We recommend booking at least a week in advance. For parties of 8 or more, we require you to book at least 14 days in advance. This is to ensure we provide you with the absolute best picnic experience you deserve.
Do you offer food and/or beverage?
Food and drinks are not included with your picnic setup. However, we offer charcuterie boards for 2-4 person setups for an additional fee. We also have some recommendations for food vendor options for your picnic! Just mention you would like options for food in the Comments section of the Request form, and we will be sure to send you suggestions.
**For set-ups in public locations, ALL guests must adhere to local park rules and regulations (no alcohol, no smoking, no glass containers, etc.). Boro Boho LLC assumes no responsibility for guests who receive a citation for these offenses.
What does the day of the picnic look like?
We begin set up about 1 hour prior to your picnic and request you do not arrive earlier than your scheduled time. We want you to see the finished product! Once you get there, we leave and let you enjoy. All picnic setups are for a 1.5 hour period unless other arrangements have been made. We return once your picnic is done to clean up everything. All picnics must end at least 30 minutes before sunset, especially if in a public location.
What if my party is late?
Your picnic time slot will begin and end at the scheduled time, regardless if you or your full party is there or not. To avoid impact on successive bookings, in the event you are greater than 30 minutes late to your booking, forfeiture of the booking may occur. We reserve the right to pack up your picnic and not reschedule or refund you. Out of respect for other clients, we cannot wait for you to arrive. Please be on time.
Can I extend the time of my picnic?
Yes! A request to extend booking duration must occur at least 3 days prior to the booking date and is subject to availability. No refunds will be issued in the event the extended hire is not fully utilized. Extended hire is charged at a rate of $30 per half hour and $50 per hour. Only half hour extensions will be allowed same day.
What if I want to leave early?
Please do not leave your picnic unattended. If you would like to leave early, then please call us at 629-244-8723 at least 15 minutes prior to when you want to leave, and we will return asap.

What if an item is damaged or lost?
You are responsible for ALL picnic items until we arrive for clean up. If an item is lost or damaged, please notify us immediately by call or email. Clients will assume responsibility for all loss or damage to inventory, up to and including actual replacement value for each missing or damaged item.
What if it rains?
"You can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather!" We recommend having a backup picnic location (preferably indoors) where we can continue the event as planned. We do not refund payments due to weather cancellations, but we can reschedule within 90 days of your original picnic date according to availability.
What if I need to reschedule my picnic?
All cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event or the full cost of your picnic will be forfeited. Rescheduling of picnic will only be permitted once, and a second cancellation forfeits full amount of picnic cost. In the case of poor weather, your event may be re-scheduled to another date at no cost pending availability. Your rescheduled date must be within 90 days of your original date.
